You can connect your Zoom platform with Theta Lake to monitor your Zoom account and environment settings. Theta Lake connects to your Zoom account using OAuth to get updated information about your Zoom settings. After the connection from your Zoom environment to your Theta Lake Workspace is activated, the Theta Lake Communication Compliance Posture Monitoring (Posture Monitor) feature automatically monitors your Zoom settings, and provides alerts and reports about configuration drift and platform changes for your connected Zoom environment.
Prerequisites
Before you add a new Posture Monitoring connection to your Theta Lake Workspace, make sure that you have the following information.
- Theta Lake Communication Compliance Posture Monitoring account with the Administrator role
- Active Theta Lake license for Communication Compliance Posture Monitoring connections
- Active Theta Lake subscription for Collaboration Platforms
- Theta Lake administrator privileges to configure the connection
- Zoom administrative account for your organization
This account must have permissions to view all Zoom recordings for your organization. - Active Zoom license
The Communication Compliance Posture Monitoring connection to Zoom uses Zoom APIs to capture your Zoom settings. You must have the following API endpoints and API scopes enabled in your Zoom account.

We provide the Theta Lake-specific options that you need during the installation and configuration processes, but we recommend that you verify those options with the third-party documentation, and with your own internal implementation process documentation.
Manage Zoom Connections
After you have gathered all of your prerequisites, you can add a Posture Monitor connection for Zoom to your Theta Lake Workspace. Some of the options that appear during the configuration process are only available to Admin users.
To set up a Zoom Posture Monitoring connection to your Theta Lake Workspace, contact your Theta Lake Representative. Your representative can help you with the steps to configure the connection.
If you need to remove a connection, your Theta Lake Representative can also help you complete that process.
